Snow! This morning in Texas! I missed it-sleeping.
Josh cooked dinner- hamburgers. Maybe this is a start to something great!

December 1st

Scott's 47th birthday! He had to work. We are thankful for his job! 24 years with the same company.
He had taco Tuesday with a good friend. Thanks Chris! (I had Keeno)

Time to start again! My camera died, then the computer...........

*Sara and Aaron got married on September 18th!
*Jake is writing new songs-I have heard 3 and love, love, love them!
*Josh is working as many hours at Sonic as he can-making the big bucks!


Next week, I will buy a camera- I haven't had a spare minute or dollar to think about getting one. Any suggestions?

Monday

Jake, Daniel, and Matt met with Kenney at The Ranch 95.9.
He introduced them to the program director and showed them around.
Hopefully he will love the EP and give them some air time!

Sunday
Sara and Aaron's shower was amazing. Laura and LaGatha hosted and it was gorgeous! Fun, pretty cake, yummy pink punch, hot pink roses that Laura wrapped in ribbon, tulle every where, glitz, and pearls!
A beautiful spread of fruit, veggies, and homemade chicken salad. We are blessed with amazing friends.
It was a great turn out- once the directionally challenged people arrived!
They were very grateful for all of the goodies to start their life together!

August 8th

Shopping, cleaning, getting ready for Aaron's party next weekend.

My camera finally wore out- the last picture it took a was of a dresser at a garage sale- then nothing........it will play thme back- but refuses to take another picture!
*garage sale find------old windows- some with glass, some with broken glass, some with stained glass- I got them all! Can't wait to use them! Scott loaded them, paid for them, said he would clean them, and then store them in the garage for me.......he has no faith that they will be beautiful one day!

August 7th

Friday-
Shopping ALLLLLLLLLLLLL DAYYYYYYYYYYY with my mom and Sara at Kohl's. It was fun!

Scrapping ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT at Angies- really just till 11- but it was fun, too!

I missed the boys game- but they won 22-10!

August 6th

Thursday
The Will Callers played a show in Granbury sponsored by 92.1 Country Legends.
They did amazing. It was on the square at the Plaza.
We made it a girls night- Sara, Deanna, and me. Great friends!

August 5th

Sara and Aaron own their first set of patio furniture! She found a set at Sam's that she loves- very cool- sofa, bar, bar stools, and ottoman's. A sweet brother with a truck came and helped get it home! Thanks Jake!

I got a picture of Sara and Aaron printed today for my black and white wall.- Love It!!!

Monday-
Bridal portraits- They are gorgeous! Anna has a true gift and captured Sara beautifully!
We had a fun day! The flowers will be perfect!
We got some honks- some yells, even a "you're beautiful!" while Sara was walking around in her wedding dress! Quite a day!

An old friend- Tommy Eddleman- just opened up a hot rod shop! We went to the grand opening celebration. He has some amazing cars!
Back in the day Scott and Tommy could ski like pro's! Good memories of when we were young and crazy! Ski all day- camp out -ski the next day- on the river! I cannot believe I did that.
Wow! We NEED a boat!

My neice and her boy Charles just bought their first house! We are so proud of them. We got to see it today. They have painted, put in new floors and it looks amazing!
Sean is a hoot! He said "My Sara and my Aaron are here!"

My friend Laura is bravely battling cancer! It sucks........We visited while she had chemo today. She knows all the other patients and most knew her by name. She has an amazing attitude and I am sure she has been a blessing to them. Her numbers are looking great!
We also stopped and got a snocone on the way home- Snohut has the best ever and I can have watermelon and banana!
The evening was a fun night of scrapping with my friends! The cool kids!

We had a fun day! First we swam with the kids and grilled hamburgers.

Then we headed to the Lake...... Granbury!

Tracee and Tom invited us to come to their party. It was really fun-hot, great food, drinks all around, good lake fun!

Scott came really close- 2 times to being the Horseshoe champion!

The fireworks were amazing, as always.

This was our first holiday with NO KIDS- we kinda liked it.....lol

Scott's Mamaw's birthday! She is 93. We drove to Temple and visited with the bunch there. She is in a beautiful new place. She told us all about it. It was good to see all the Murphy bunch!

We had lunch with Jim and Frances. Mexican yum!

I drove back while Scott slept. He must have reeeeeeeeally been tired.........In 25 years, I have never driven more than a few miles before he wants to drive.........I am a great driver, he has control issues - lol!

We took Sara's dress to "her guy" to get it perfect for her to wear. He said, in a very thick accent "She too tiny......" lol. I would love to hear those words! He is amazing and does really good work. It was kinda freaky seeing him pin up this dress. It didn't need much, but she did want it where she can dance!
Then to Sno Hut! The best sno cones- really.....I got banana and watermelon, Sara got Strawberry cheesecake and vanilla. Yummmmo!
Then to Keeno- great fun! Sara joined us and we had a lot of laughs.
Now it is after midnight- Daniel just left, Trent just walked in- after a long week at camp. Matt is playing guitar and Jake is laughing......This is my life - lol

Brandy is a hoot! Amy, Katy, and I cropped all day on Wednesday.

I was running a little late. Planned to leave right after Bible study, but I didn't. As I was loading the car, an ATT guy and my neighbor, walked out of Ms Betty's house- my next door neighbor.

She had fallen in the driveway and hit her head. I stayed with her unti lher husband got home. She has vertigo and thinks that was the problem.

I arrived at the crop about 3:30......and cropped till 10! It was fun and I may have gotten a few things finished......maybe.....I truelly have no idea!

A trip to Canton! I have gone to Canton many, many times and it is always great fun!
Today was beautiful! Sunshine and a cool breeze! It was not crowded! I was with fun girls- Amy, Sara, and Lindsey! I bought some really cute earrings and a matching necklace. Cute, cute stuff!I bought a few "projects" lol- I still need to finish the ones I bought last time. They will be finished!
I bought Kettle corn for Scott.

Crafty day! We went to Cre8joy's Creative Buffet today and made some awesome stuff.

Amy made a fun banner and a 'cool dog' layout. Her "sweet" mom made a cross, but used creams and reds and it turned out very pretty. Sara made a huge frame project. Spread your wings and fly! It has embossed metal, cool zebra stripes, painting, inking, modgepodgeing, glossy effects, and she did an awesome job on it! She is quiet the crafty girl! I made a really pretty flourish frame. The frame and the cross will be on the wall this weekend.

Sara was so inspired, she came home an started and completed!-this is amazing- a canvas project! Pictures to follow soon!

*Josh has the flu........

*Scott has worked 12 hours a day all week. He will be loving the 3 day weekend!

I am so excited that Kris Allen won American Idol! I will even admit I voted as many times as I could last night! I loved the song with Keith Urban! What an awesome experience to play with all of the legends that performed on the finale!

I think Jake should have done the AI experience in Disney. You won a front of the line pass to the next auditions.....He could be the next American Idol!!!!!!!!

We booked the photographer today. An amazing young woman who loves the Lord. She is one of Sara's clients. Sara has been so blessed with many clients who are believers. I can't help but know it is God placing these people in her life.
Anna has a gift for taking gorgeous photos. We are really excited! and she has the sweetest little girl!

Now onto the next item........the list is long, the planning is fun!
