Another fun shopping day!

We went to Dallas- I found the cutest earrings- because I must wear earrings! andI got the cutest new bag and matching clutch wallet. It shouts spring!!

My goal- keep it cleaned out and organized- Sara just laughed when I said that.

*American Idol-Love Danny, Love Kris. Like Adam. But I haven't watched it tonight yet.

*Sweet little Charlie is whining and sad. They have taken him to the vet......antibiotics for his teeth- but he was limping....

Monday-

A day we've dreamed about- planned on- prayed for- since she was tiny- Sara finding "THE Dress!"

She looked fabulous in all of them. My sweet girl. She tried on a fashion show's worth of dresses- she's a girly girl and loves stuff like this! Becky and I watched and clicked away!

She found it! And you can see it.......in the Fall!

I am almost caught up!

I am finally almost caught up. I have filled in almost every day. I missed a lot while Scott was on vacation and then Spring Break craziness kicked in! But I only have a day or two to be totally on track! WooooHooooo! Go me!

A beautiful day. We spent some time in the sunshine. Roxy got a new frisbee. She likes to chase it, but wants you to chase her and then throw it again. Great exercise!

Scott grilled out burgers and bar-b-q pork chops. YUM!

Jake is 20. He is a song writing, guitar playing, recording, singing, amazingly talented kid!

On The Border for lunch with my mom, Aunt and cousin, I have taken my camera every week. I cannot remember to take a picture!

Cre8joy Crop! I had a great time cropping with some new friends. I was inspired by the album I made on Thursday and decided to make another one. This isn't acrylic, but was an album I've had for a while. I am finally able to scrap the Casting Crown Wish Day. It will be a beautiful album of a beautiful day. I am about half way finished.
Annie brought a cuttlebug. I NEED one. She had the perfect embellies for my Casting Crowns pages. Crown, Music notes, thank you in every language, and several other ones that I loved.
God is Goood all the time!

Thursday
Creative Buffet Class! What a clever idea. Tracy posts several projects and sets a date. You pick and rsvp for any of the projects. Amy chose the 2 page layouts. I chose the Spring acrylic album. We went at the same time and each of our projects were ready to go. All of the supplies, pretty paper cut, embellies-buttons, ribbons,and flowers-oh my!, ink, paint pens, tulle, stamps, glossy effects, colored pencils and teachers for help! I met a lot of very nice new friends and one is Vicki!

I still need to add pictures- but I love it!!!!!!

Charlie loves to sit in the window, soak up the sun- and watch the world go by...... and bark at everything that moves!
Keeno. At MaryAnn's always a fun night. I actually won the black out- split with Debbie! I also won Bath and Body Works hand soap- not a pity gift. lol Midnight Pomegranate.

Monday
Scott can fix anything. He is amazing. The pool pump needed some maintanance. $200 and a few hours later- good as new! Jake helped and now we can swim! In a few weeks......
Sara and I drove all over town to find the perfect curtains for my scrap room!
* Scott grilled steak and corn for lunch-yum!
* New curtains and pillows!
* Bath and Body Works hand soap- Love it! New favorite. Pomegranite Midnight something...I need to look....

Sunday. We, ok, Scott, planted a gazillion begonias. I planted 5 sweet potato vines. The yard looks amazing.
I am trying to decide if we should add another sweet puppy to the chaos. Scott wants another Corgi. My only concern? They are shedding machines! I want a lap puppy. A nice sweet scoopable, non shedding, quiet, lap puppy. Roxy needs a buddy. She misses Charlie when he is at Aaron's.
Anyone else think we are crazy?

We had dinner with our good friends- who make delicious chocolate cake and share. Angie and I cricutted and the boys played guns.

Jake and Friends went to Austin for South By Southwest for a Spring Break trip.
Josh went to the Mall for a Twilight Release Party.
Sara and Aaron played pool with my nieces and their boys.
I had lunch with my Mom, aunt, and cousin Laura at Logans.
Stopped by Deanna's salon- love it! Saw Lisa and girls-cute hair! Cropped all night at Deannas.
And Scott went to work- what a guy!

The week is going too fast. Our 80 sunshiney days have turned to 40 and raining- yuck.

Scott had to be up bright and early at 10 lol for a dentist appt.

Lunch at Babes- my absolute favorite place to eat!!!!!! Fried Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans, and biscuits. Ummmmmm- weight watchers was on hold for the day.........

Fun day- errands- I hate to run errands. But whatcha gonna do?

Library, oil changed in the truck, truck inspected, roxy bathed and nails clipped, grocery store

* bonus* oil place is right next to Antique Mall- no treasures came home with me, but it was fun searching.

* Roxy growled at the girl but no biting. lol

Scott grilled out for dinner-steaks and we had ice cream for dessert- with caramel sauce, and whipped topping, and some of us added.....sprinkles lol!

Monday

Lunch at Red Lobster! Yum. Again I love the bread.....cheddar biscuits........yum.

Sara and Aaron went with us. Aaron just bought this truck to haul his dirt bike.

March 8th

The reason we are at home this week- instead of in Orlando, or Destin, or Vegas, or .........anywhere besides here. New tires, Scott's crown, pool pump acting wonky, eye doctors, and a cagillion other money suckers............but grateful we had the cash to cover it all!

And Josh is sick- so maybe it was a blessing not to have fun plans.

* and Scott has 5 more weeks off this year!!! woooohoooo- we will be going somewhere.....

Saturday, First day of vacation- Scott went to a gun show with friends. I spent the day doing whatever it is I do all day.

Friday

Lunch with Mom and Sara at Mimi's Cafe. It was delish. First they brought out 2 huge slices of zucchini bread and a yummy roll for each of us. I don't do green ----unless it is hidden in something yummy and sweet! I could have just eaten the breads......maybe someday I will....
I ordered chicken parmesan, mom got soup and salad, and Sara got chicken strips. Good times!

I scrapped with fun friends all night! It was wild and crazy and I got nothing finished, but thats ok.
And tonight starts Scott's vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!We have nothing exciting planned- but I love him home!

****Funny memories we talked about at dinner-
*Laura and fam lived near Disneyland in the early 70's. I was maybe 5- Monica 13? or so. We visited along with my grandparents. My only memory is getting my arm stuck in the turnstile and my Uncle Jerry lifting me up and over it. I might remember the Matterhorn and seeing Mickey Mouse- or it may be because we have pictures- another reason I scrapbook!
*Laura's memory- even tho she has motion sickness- she really wanted to ride the teacups with Monica and my mom. She did, even tho her Mom didn't think she should....big mistake.......

I need to find the pictures-very funny! Mom and Aunt Ellen with the big hair, the rest of us looking very Brady Bunchish lol

COS crop at Danna's church- always a fun time. It was a small group this time. I tend to get more done if it is a smaller group. Less distractions I guess? I tend to listen to everyone-not nosey, I am just very interested......right Deanna?! I started on my All about me pages for a swap and I finished about 4 random pages. Not too shabby.

That evening Scott and I went on a date. Angie and her hubby were celebrating the day they met anniversary- I decided Scott and I should celebrate it too. So in their honor we went to Texas Roadhouse and had a delicious dinner. I could just eat the rolls and be perfectly happy!

This was our first time eating here. It was way loud- but fun. I love steak and ordered a rib and steak dinner-becuase that what Scott was getting - I didn't want to be left out! I ate some but brought most of it home- remember the rolls? They bring them out first- with some cinnamon butter. My only complaint- and its more of an OCD thing- peanut shells on the floor- makes me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way Behind!

I'm not feeling great. Swollen, achey knees, elbows, hands, ankles......no fun. I hate to get more than a few days behind- I can't remember what I did yesterday, much less last Saturday! But I have pictures! SO here goes......

Friday night crop. Amy and I joined the girls at Cre8joy for a fun crop. Marylee was also there. It was a fun crop and I got a few things finished. She gives away some awesome door prizes. I won a page kit and used it for our Denver pictures. My phone was not working that night and I hate to be out of reach for the kids. I left early and finished up some pages at home.

*Mom in Louisiana- so no lunch date.

* Remember to actually take pictures! My camera lives in my bag (purse-did you know they are bags now?) so I always have it.......I just get busy and forget to use it!!!!!

* I love these pictures from the Royal Gorge. It's a really good one of Josh and Amy. Scott and Steve look so much alike. I guess me and Vickie have similiar taste! They get along great too.
